Instructions that came with umbrella have no directions for changing back to no-tilt !!!
It's not clear how to change back and so while in tilt position it doesn't close up in preparation for windy weather; this is a disaster for me in Tucson with the imminent monsoons winds/rain.
I've opened up additional vents, but that isn't sufficient for high winds over 12 mph.
Even removing pole and laying umbrella on ground is not a solution bc umbrella doesn't close up and still catches the wind on the ground and is buffeted about.
Terrible dilemma!
I sent email to Customer Service yesterday, but have no reply yet.
Disaster is afoot.

Beautiful and great quality. Our deck gets really windy since we are up on a hill and we have had real trouble finding an Umbrella with venting that worked well enough to prevent the umbrella from lifting off all of the time with a strong gust. This one dies the trick and looks great! Seems like it’s built solidly so I hope it lasts for a good number of years. Made it through the first summer looking great and no fading.
Our intention was to order a red Aoodor patio umbrella, but received a blue one instead. However, while waiting for the a red umbrella to arrive in its place, we put the blue one up and were pleasantly surprised at how attractive and suitable for our patio conditions this umbrella proved to be.
We intend to keep the blue umbrella and still intend to purchase a red umbrella so that we can have alternative appearances of our patio.
