We received our 10X13 pergola within a week of ordering. The instructions were adequate and it took two of us around 4 hours to put it together. It wasn’t EASY, but it was adequate. Everything was well labeled and the screws lined up fine. A screw gun a hex bit and a Phillips bit made the job MUCH easier. We highly recommended the screw gun!
We are missing one small piece and have emailed asking for a replacement part, but even if they ignore my request, the product is fine.
Understand it is not wood and therefore not equipped for high wind, snow or rain. But will be awesome for summer days. Just what we were looking for.
Nice product. Takes way longer than the suggested one hour to assemble however.
This is a great pergola that we are very happy with, but can't find the replacement overhead canopies anywhere! Why doesn't the company offer replacement parts????
There is a pamphlet included that contains only pictures/drawings. The drawings are not always clear and it's EXTREMELY annoying to build by drawings you can't always tell what you're looking at :(
THAT said, the structure alis fairly rugged for aluminum (although mine arrived bent, i had the tools to straighten it, and got on with assy.)
Took a while to put together but I'm a perfectionist. Yes the legs bolt together but they're sturdy when everything is tightened. Take your time and do it right. And fasten it down to your deck if possible. Even if you need to buy beefier hardware. Mine is as solid as a rock. I live in North East US, upstate NY. Been out all year and looks great. We removed the sliding top for the winter and we are more than satisfied with the durability of the unit. Put it up in May.
